Class 1.
Pair of #5 concave fore shoes to make a pair with rocker toes, toe clips. Produce clip by method of choice. Nail to suit.
Class 2.
Pair of #0 Kerkheart fore shoes to make a pair of hinds with lateral extension, toe clip and lateral quarter clip. Produce clip by method of choice. Nail to suit.
Division 2
Class 1.
12” x 1”x 3/8” aluminum, to make a pair of 2 degree fore shoes with quarter clips. Plain stamped, hammer drawn clips. 6 nails, Mustad MX 55
Class 2.
13” x 1” x 5/16”, to make a pair of hinds with lateral extension, quarter creased with quarter clips. Clips to be bob punched, 7 nails, Mustad Combo 5 nail
Division 3
Class 1.
14” x 3/4”x 3/8” to make a fore “G” bar, quarter creased, open on medial heel, side clips. 6 nails, Mustad ESL 4 nail.
13” x 1” x ¼” to make a fore shoe with lateral toe extension, quarter creased. 8 nails, Mustad City 4 1/2
Class 2:
15” x 3/4” x 3/8” to make a hind preventer straight bar, quarter creased. 6 nails, Mustad ESL 4 & MX 50
10” x 3/4”x 1/2” to make a roller motion fore shoe, quarter creased. 6 nails, Mustad MX 60
Eagle Eye:
All three divisions offered, one class in each division, shoes to be announced just prior to class.
Live Shoeing:
The top three from each Division in forging are eligible for this class. Will shoe one hind and one front. Judge’s choice.
