Let Me Introduce Myself
I have been a farrier since 1981 and an AFA Certified Journeyman
since 1991. I have served the Farriers Association of Washington State
as Treasurer, Board Member, Chairman of the Board and Newsletter Editor.
As Chairman, the Farriers Association of Washington State made history by
electing me as the first woman in the United States to fill that position.
As a result, I also became the first woman to sit on the Board of
Directors of the American Farriers Association. I have a
Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts
and was recently featured in the Washington State Women Magazine.
